  • We work to stay within a one-month timeframe for the preparation of your estate planning documents, although the timing can vary depending on your availability to review the draft documents. After your first meeting with us, you will receive draft documents within two weeks. You will need to review the documents and respond to us with questions or changes. Once any changes are incorporated, we schedule a time to sign the documents. We will provide you with title instructions to guide you in the funding of your trust and we are always happy to help or answer questions as you work through the retitling process.

  • A basic estate plan includes a will, a revocable trust, an assignment of tangible personal property to the trust, a power of attorney for property, a power of attorney for health care, and a living will (declaration).

  • If you have existing estate planning documents, it is helpful to bring them to our first meeting. Beforehand, consider the individual you will choose to make financial and health care decisions for you as well as the persons you will name as guardians for your minor children. Also, consider to whom you would like your assets to be distributed after your death. We will send you a questionnaire when you schedule your appointment to help you gather this information.

  • A: We understand that no one likes to pay an attorney, and we strive to set our fees at a competitive and reasonable level. Many of our clients prefer flat-fee arrangements, and we are happy to offer that option whenever possible. Russo Law Offices works hard to be upfront and transparent, which includes a candid discussion of projected fees and expenses at our first meeting.   • A: Russo Law Offices maintains regular business hours for appointments. We understand that you are busy, so we work hard to make your interaction with our office as easy as possible. We offer meeting times on the weekends or evenings upon request, online appointment scheduling, video conferencing, online bill pay, and secure online document review.
